When not busy driving the country off a cliff edge to certain doom, we all know that Theresa May likes a bit of a sing and a dance. We’re pretty sure then that she’s going to love Jonny Woo’s next cabaret show which this year is going to feature a choir made up entirely of Theresa Mays.
The feisty group will be performing as part of the cabaret extravaganza, singing brand new songs written by Richard Thomas who co-wrote Jerry Springer The Opera. And who knows, they may even do a little bit of Maybot dancing.
There’s also going to be a whole host of drag acts, stand up comedy and Jonny’s own Mary Portas homage ’Scary Mary’ so it’s sure to be a right hoot.
The shows are at Hackney Empire on 19th and 20th October – perfectly timed for just after ol’ Theresa is back from the next crucial Brexit summit. She (and the rest of us) may well need some cheering up, so get your tickets in now.
