Since Kylie Jenner launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2016, it’s been pandemonium. Lip kits have been selling out left, right and centre, her site has crashed multiple times and her stockists have struggled to keep up with the sales.
If you’ve been praying for a new release, you’re in luck.
On Instagram, Kylie showed off the products that fans can expect from the new release, including a brand new vampire-themed lip kit shade called “Bite Me”.
She’s also releasing the mummy-themed nine-pan eyeshadow palette we never knew we needed including a whole load of epic shade names including Bat Sh*t Crazy, Hey Pumpkin and Hex On My Ex – a super-witchy purple shimmer.
Also for the eyes is Witch, Famous and Hello Ghordeous, two glittery liquid eyeshadows in an orange copper and true yellow-gold.
And if that wasn’t enough to have you sold, the packaging is also, of course, Halloween-themed. Each part of the collection has it’s own spooky, glittery box, and the best part? They’re 3D. Yep, Kylie just took makeup to a whole new level. Every item you purchase comes with a pair of 3D glasses, so instead of just throwing the box away, you get to witness it in all its 3D glory.
It comes out on October 12, so plenty of time to get practising before the 31st- especially since we have competition now Kylie has revealed she’s thinking of doing 3 Halloween looks this year, as if her X-tina could ever be beaten.
As if Kylie hadn’t already given us some major releases this year, the Halloween collection was announced just weeks after the new-mum announced she was collaborating with her best friend, Jordyn Woods, giving us all of the A/W makeup inspo we could ever need.
KYLIE X JORDAN
Jordyn first revealed that the collaboration was coming two months ago at Beautycon where she told fans: “We’ve wanted to do this since her company first launched; we’ve been working on it for years!”
Before we’d even had a peek at what was in the making, Kylie and Jordyn made the official announcement on Instagram posing in super-sparkly outfits that we definitely need like right now.
And the reveal certainly lived up to the hype with their eyeshadow palette containing some major glitter shades, as well as some more subtle mattes.
As well as some dreamy AF shades to take us through to the new year, the Bratz-esque packaging is a super cute illustration of Jordyn and Kylie by artist, Hayden Williams.
Kylie Cosmetics Magnetic Eyeshadow Palette
This comes shortly after Kylie took to Instagram to announce that she’d be stocking single eyeshadows, and quite frankly, we never knew we needed something so badly.
We’re all familiar with the fact Kylie has released a LOT of collections since the Kylie Cosmetics launch three years ago, including collections dedicated to her family, and now she’s released 28 of her favourites from across those collections as singles for a very reasonable $7 each.
She’s also releasing a magnetic Kylie Cosmetics palette to store them in and customise your swanky new eyeshadow collection and it’s so pretty, we might just get it to display and not even put anything in it (just kidding; I’ve definitely got my eye on at least 18 shades.)
If you’re familiar with the Kylie collections (or maybe even already own some), the shades she’ll initially be releasing are: Jack Frost, Jasper, Light Year, Pyrite, New Year New Me, Love Potion, Matcha, Quartz, Hematte, Starfish, Sandy, Unwrap Me, Mase, Blizzard, Sunshine, Topaz, Raspberry Sugar, Goddess, Bible, Turning Violet, Buzz Off, Slay, Sweet Like Honey, Party Time, Island Girl, Royal, Frosty and Loves Me Not.
Summer Collection X Kylie Cosmetics
It seems there’s nothing the new-mum can’t do, after Kylie teased the Summer Collection X Kylie Cosmetics launch earlier this year, sporting long, blonde, wet hair which gave us full Barbie fantasy.
The new mother is seen lying on a bed of bananas, while rocking a fiery orange makeup look, which will make up the new collection. Cast your eyes over the campaign and prepare to be blown away…
As Kylie’s lips look super full here (wearing the shade ‘Tangerine’ from the new collection), we guess it was taken before she decided to dissolve all of her lip fillers.
Her post sent beauty fans into a frenzy, with thousands commenting seeking more information on the new launch.
Kylie New Lip Colours
This launch seems to have been received a little better than the last set of lip kit colour shades, which left people a bit, well, confused.
Muted matte tones are synonymous with Kylie Jenner’s make-up looks, so the new hot pink (‘Say No More’), orange-hued nude (‘Bare’), fiery coral (‘Boss’) and, umm, olive green (‘Ironic’), are a departure from what we’d usually expect from Kylie Cosmetics.
The comments were an equal mix of love and hate, with most of the confusion directed towards the green shade. And fans didn’t hold back.
“Inspiration from Stormi’s diaper?” wrote one, while another really didn’t hold back: “You know a brand getting cocky when they put one out that looks like a dukie when you eat ya greens”.
Whether Kylie’s new shades were inspired by new motherhood or not, we wouldn’t be surprised if ‘nappy lips’ became this year’s hottest new trend (along with lilac eyeshadow and white liner). As is the power of Kylie Cosmetics…
Kylie cosmetics new blushers
Fans were recently also a little baffled by the names of Kylie’s recent blushers. She faced backlash the first time the products were released but it seems that people weren’t quite over it yet.
One of the blushes is called ‘barely legal,’ another is called ‘x-rated,’ and there’s one called ‘virginity.’
People took to Twitter to share their disdain for the product names, with some saying they were ‘gagging’ at the monikers – especially because many of her fans are very young.
She isn’t the first beauty mogul to name her lipsticks something raunchy, though –
Fenty and plenty of other brands have also done the same. Kylie’s new blushes cost $20 each and are for sale on her website.
The youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan after recently launched the incredible Blue Honey Palette.
Kylie sent her followers into a frenzy on her Kylie Cosmetics Instagram page when she revealed the new launch had dropped in all its bronze, teal and gold glory in January.
The palette features nine shades – four matte and five shimmer – and retails at $38/£26.95.
On top of that, the beauty boss also released four new velvet singles, Vibe, Mood, Heat and Shook.
Of course, living in the UK means you’ll have to pay an extra £10 for shipping on all of these products, but can you really put a price on that high-quality pigment?
