The Pachamama team is heading east, opening a sister site to the Marylebone restaurant in Shoreditch this November. Pachamama East, like the original and the offshoot Chicama in Chelsea, will still be largely Peruvian in style but it’ll set itself apart by featuring Asian flavours across the menu too.

Split into soil, land and sea sections, you can expect dishes like grilled hispi cabbage and smoked aubergine, whole jiang-glazed chicken, hand-pulled lobster noodles, and Sichuan fried chicken as well as a variety of ceviches. The cocktail list will continue the same fusion, mixing pisco with Asian ingredients as well as featuring bubble tea concoctions too.

The two-floor space is set to look pretty special too, with exposed concrete, pastel colours and plants in the main restaurant area, a sunken bar and a black-and-pink tiled staircase leading down to the private dining room, which’ll also play host to pop-ups and chef collabs.
