After debuting in Miami, Buns & Buns (which is all about different kinds of breads funnily enough) is opening in Covent Garden Market. The menu features breads from around the world, from bourbon pork belly baos (served from a roving dim sum trolley) to brioche lobster rolls to clams and mussels in wine with sourdough to blackened rotisserie chicken with pão de queijo, a Brazilian cheese bread. The same theme continues through to the dessert selection, which includes bread and chocolate pudding and seasonal doughnuts. Anywhere that celebrates carbs as much as this gets the thumbs up from us. Sadly there’s no bread in the drinks but the bar is shaking up cocktails made with fresh juices and warm winter bevs like balck cherry mulled wine.
And Buns & Buns is celebrating the big opening by giving away 100 FREE lobster rolls to the first 100 diners in on day one, so get down there for an early dinner.
