Celebrities and influencers flock to The Ivy Chelsea Garden to celebrate the unveiling of its latest floral installation, inspired by the impending RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Local residents, influencers and celebrities including Lottie Moss, Amber LeBon, Amanda Wakeley, Henry Conway and Natalie and Zafar Rushdie flocked to the venue for the annual summer party on Tuesday 14 May.

Guests enjoyed floral-inspired cocktails, champagne and canapés including ponzu tuna tartare, harissa marinated chicken skewers and passion fruit and white chocolate lollipops in the restaurant’s beautiful garden and orangery, while midsummer fairies and performers entertained guests throughout the evening.

The restaurant’s exterior has been adorned with a wild flower-inspired installation – an Instagrammable must-snap that’ll stop you in your tracks as you stride along the King’s Road – and two limited-edition floral cocktails have been added to the menu.

‘We are delighted to be unveiling our most striking floral installation to date, in celebration of RHS Chelsea Flower Show and its Back to Nature theme,’ said Pedro Carvalho, General Manager at The Ivy Chelsea Garden, on the night.

‘We hope to add a touch of splendour to the King’s Road during the show and look forward to welcoming local residents, Londoners and passers-by.’

In place from Tuesday 14 May to Sunday 28 July, the installation will feature a blossoming abundance of flowers, incorporating seasonal pastel tones of yellows, soft pinks, light blues and lilacs, interspersed with green foliage.

Passers-by will be encouraged to help themselves to wild flower seeds, spreading the trail of wild flowers across London – as well as stopping to take a selfie to brighten up their social media feeds (don’t forget the hashtag, #IvyChelseaFlowerMeadow).

Guests who enter the restaurant will be greeted by a floral ceiling in reception before stepping into the restaurant with nods to wild flowers throughout and within the alfresco garden space.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden has also added two new summer cocktail serves: The Silent Sparkle with Silent Pool Gin, ginger and lemongrass cordial, lime juice and Ivy Champagne, garnished with dried lavender; and The Camomile Garden with Silent Pool Gin, honey water and Fever Tree Indian Tonic, a spritz of camomile aromatics and a kaffir lime leaf and orange garnish.
