London is famous for its green spaces, like the well-known and much-loved Hyde Park, Greenwich Park and Richmond Park, which bring joy and pretty Insta-moments to residents and visitors alike.

But London has some 3,000 parks of varying sizes, which together cover almost 18% of London – that’s more than the area of the city covered by railways and roads combined.

So where are London’s lesser-known green spots? Which ones are worth discovering? And will they offer a better chance of enjoying a socially distanced walk this Boxing Day?

Clarks has taken it upon themselves to reveal nature’s hidden gems across London by analysing TripAdvisor listings to discover the least reviewed, but best rated spots.

It’s part of a nationwide project, pouring over some 5,000 reviews to showcase the best parks, forests, beaches and hiking trails across the UK.
